Product Designer

Organized in 2018, NUTS Finance is a blockchain development lab focused on creating the building blocks to enable financial applications on the blockchain.

We created Tapio Protocol and raised $4 million from the best crypto investors in the including Polychain, Hypersphere, Arrington, Spartan, LongHash and more.

We have also formed a strategic joint venture with CQG to build the premiere institutional derivatives trading platform, Optio.

We are looking for a highly creative Product Designer who is genuinely passionate about blockchain technology, finance and culture. You will be responsible for driving impactful product design decisions and you will work closely with our Product Manager, marketer and engineering team to build and launch innovative DeFi products.

• Lead and oversee the user experience of a product from conception to launch in partnership with Product Managers and Engineers
• Contribute to strategic decisions around the future direction of NUTS Finance product suite
• Initiate and lead design projects with visual design and execute on UX end-to-end, including discovery, concept, prototypes, detailed designs and ongoing refinement
• Develop design system in partnership with visual design
• Conduct user research, from early discovery to user testing
• Conduct market research to adopt industry best practice, while developing competitive edge
• Brainstorm and iterate with your design and product colleagues to help improve on the whole experience

• 3+ years experience as a UX designer working with complex financial products in B2B / prosumer space, and a corresponding portfolio
• Experience designing complex end-to-end user journeys
• Ability to design and advocate for high-quality, well-crafted, visual and interaction design
• Comfortable leading both large ambiguous projects as well as smaller tactical ones
• Experience designing holistic product frameworks, establishing design systems and principles, create product blueprints
