Job Description
Parallel Markets is seeking gifted, customer-focused Solutions Engineers to help support and grow our investor identity platform. This is a significant opportunity to be part of a growing team and help shape the way we technically support potential and current partners. In this role, your work will make a significant impact on Parallel Market’s customers, stakeholders, and ability to continue to scale.
Responsibilities
- Join members of our sales team on calls with potential customers to ensure that any technical questions can be fully addressed
- Work directly with the product and engineering teams of our new customers to help ensure they are able to integrate with our services quickly and easily
- Work with existing customers to help gather feedback and new product ideas
- Provide first line support for existing customers, ensuring they're able to get answers to any questions they may have
- Help keep our API and developer documentation up to date and as clear as possible
- Contribute input on new features (and even help build them, if you'd like)
- Regularly collaborate with other partners on the legal and business development sides to solicit requirements, seek feedback and provide updates.
Job Requirements
- Experience working directly with external enterprise customers
- An interest in helping our customers - from pre-sales to onboarding to ongoing support.
- Enjoy working in a collaborative environment where solutions engineers are expected not only to help customers utilize our technology, but also to define project vision, specify technical strategy, and always be learning
- Demonstrable at least a base level of proficiency coding in at least one programming language
- Experience presenting to audiences and communicating effectively and empathetically with clients and other stakeholders
- Ability to understand and troubleshoot complex technical issues
Strong preference will be given to candidates who have experience:
- Writing customer facing documentation
- Providing basic technical support for a SaaS product
- Working with startups
