Product Designer

Token2049 runs two flagship events—TOKEN2049 and SuperAI—bringing together tens of thousands of attendees, sponsors, and speakers in Asia and beyond. The company is building the digital infrastructure that powers these events, from ticketing portals to attendee engagement platforms. As their Product Designer, you'll shape the entire digital experience across both events, creating interfaces that match the energy and premium feel Token2049 is known for.

Token2049 has become the leading Web3 and AI conference in Asia, hosting major annual events in Singapore and expanding globally. The team is lean and focused, moving fast to deliver exceptional experiences for a rapidly growing audience.

Your day-to-day work will involve

• Designing product screens, portal interfaces, and select marketing assets end-to-end for both TOKEN2049 and SuperAI—from initial concept through launch.
• Building and maintaining a comprehensive design system in Figma that keeps both event platforms, microsites, and marketing channels visually consistent as the team scales.
• Creating animated digital content for social media: countdown timers, ticket drop animations, recap videos—content designed to build momentum heading into events in Dubai, Singapore, and beyond.
• Understanding the full attendee journey, obsessing over every touchpoint from ticket purchase through post-event sharing and engagement.
• Collaborating with product managers and engineers in an agile workflow, translating loose requirements into polished, user-centered designs.
• Balancing speed with quality in a fast-moving environment where event dates are fixed deadlines.

You'll need deep Figma expertise—advanced component libraries, auto-layout, and interactive prototyping are baseline skills. You should have 4-7 years of product design experience, ideally in tech, events, or high-growth startups, with a portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product thinking and strong visual execution. Experience designing for events, marketplaces, or social features is valuable because you understand designing for connection and engagement.

Motion design experience is a real plus. Familiarity with After Effects, Lottie, Protopie, or Framer will help you bring interfaces to life with micro-interactions and animations that make digital events feel dynamic and responsive.

We'd love to see

• Experience designing web platforms, portal screens, and mobile interfaces across multiple product lines or brands.
• A background in or passion for Web3, crypto culture, or AI—you don't need to trade or code, just genuine curiosity about these spaces.
• Data-driven design skills: using analytics and user feedback to refine apps and increase retention.
• Community or social feature design experience.
• Custom illustration or 3D design skills for campaigns.
• A degree in Design, HCI, or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.

This is a full-time remote role based in Singapore or Hong Kong.
