Polish Sports Localization Specialist (Football)

The Translation, Localization, Interpretation, and QA Testing team is looking for a Polish Sports Localization Specialist with deep football knowledge. You'll work remotely on quality control tasks that involve reviewing, fact-checking, and adapting English-language football content for Polish audiences. Your role is to ensure the content not only translates accurately but also lands culturally and maintains the energy of the original while meeting the brand's style guidelines.

What you'll do

• Review and localize football-related content from English to Polish, balancing accuracy with cultural relevance for your market
• Fact-check sports information and terminology to maintain credibility with your audience
• Research local content trends, product terminology, and best localization practices specific to Polish football culture and fan communities
• Evaluate grammar, style, and tone in both English source material and Polish output
• Provide constructive feedback on written content and translation approaches
• Quality assurance work involving assessment of grammar and subject matter expertise

What you'll bring

• Native-level fluency in Polish with excellent English grammar and writing skills
• A bachelor's degree or 2+ years of professional experience in linguistics, sports journalism, copywriting, or copy-editing
• Extensive knowledge of football and sports culture
• Proven experience translating and localizing multimedia content, including machine translation evaluation
• Strong creative writing, proofreading, and editing abilities in Polish
• Comfort with technology: proficiency in MS Office (you must own a licensed version), word processors, spreadsheets, computers and mobile devices

• Published sports journalism on platforms like ESPN, The Athletic, or FourFourTwo
• Background working with sports media platforms, live score applications, or streaming services
• Ability to adapt voice and style for Gen Z audiences and football fan culture
