Privacy policy

What TopWeb3Jobs collects, why, who we share it with, and your choices.

This policy explains what information TopWeb3Jobs ("we") collects when you use topweb3jobs.com, why, and what you can do about it. We collect as little as we can: there are no job seeker accounts, and we never sell personal information.

What we collect

If you post a job or rent a plot

  • Company name, website, logo and the company details you enter (such as size and social links).
  • Your work e-mail address, which we confirm with a code or link, and the job listings you write.
  • Payment records: amount, date, payment method and the payment reference. Card and PayPal details are handled by PayPal or our card processor; we never see your card number. For stablecoin payments, the transaction and the sending wallet address are public on the blockchain.

If you sign up for job alerts

  • Your e-mail address and the kinds of roles you want to hear about.

If you report a job or claim a building

  • What you write in the form, and your name and e-mail if you give them.

When you browse

  • We count views of job pages and clicks on "Apply". These counts are not linked to who you are.
  • To stop spam and abuse, we keep a one-way scrambled ("hashed") version of your IP address with form submissions and limit how often a form can be used. We cannot turn it back into your IP address.
  • Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser and pages requested) for security, for a limited time.
  • If analytics is switched on, Google Analytics uses cookies to tell us how the site is used, such as which pages are popular. You can block these cookies in your browser or with Google's opt-out add-on.

We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not need cookies for you to browse or apply.

Why we use it

  • To publish your listings and building, send your private edit link, receipts and important notices.
  • To send job alerts you asked for.
  • To check that employers are real, keep scams off the site and handle reports.
  • To take payments, give refunds where our policy allows, and keep the financial records the law requires.
  • To understand and improve the site.

Who we share it with

Only with services that help us run the site, and only what they need:

  • Payments: PayPal and our card processor, to take and refund payments.
  • E-mail: our e-mail delivery provider, to send codes, links, receipts and alerts.
  • Hosting and security: the companies that host and protect our servers.
  • Analytics: Google Analytics, if switched on.

Job listings, company names and logos are public by design: they appear on the site, in job alerts, on our social channels and in job search engines such as Google for Jobs. We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect people from fraud.

How long we keep it

  • Listings and company pages: while they are live, and for a limited time after, so you can renew.
  • Payment records: as long as tax and accounting law requires.
  • Job alert subscriptions: until you unsubscribe.
  • E-mail confirmation codes and form limits: only as long as needed to work and to stop abuse.

Your choices

  • Job alerts: every alert e-mail has a one-click unsubscribe link.
  • Your listings: edit or take them down at any time with your private edit link.
  • Access, correction or deletion: e-mail us through the contact details on this site and we will help. We may keep what the law requires us to keep, such as payment records.
  • Cookies: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site still works.

Where it is stored

Our servers and service providers may be in countries other than yours. We use providers that protect personal information with appropriate safeguards.

Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), store only scrambled versions of sensitive values where we can, and limit who can access our systems. No method is perfect, so please keep your private edit link to yourself.

Children

TopWeb3Jobs is for people looking for work and for employers. It is not meant for children under 16.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update it on this page; the date at the bottom shows the latest version.
