Databricks Federal is seeking a Deputy Facility Security Officer to join the Administration team in Washington, D.C. In this full-time role, you'll work alongside the Industrial Security Lead to manage security programs, oversee personnel and contract security operations, and build automated workflows that help a small team support an expanding workforce. You'll be instrumental in establishing security infrastructure for government customers while introducing AI-assisted processes to streamline compliance and reporting.

What you'll do

  • Administer Industrial Security and CJIS Programs under 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM), including routine coordination with DCSA and government program security officers
  • Manage collateral clearances and SCI accesses throughout their lifecycle, while handling mandatory reporting across personnel security programs
  • Process and track DD254s and sub-DD254 flowdowns in partnership with Legal, Field Engineering, and Sales teams
  • Identify repeatable security workflows across clearance tracking, onboarding, offboarding, training compliance, and contract security to build automated and AI-assisted solutions
  • Oversee the security intake queue and its service level agreements while maintaining synchronization across DISS-JVS, NISS, SWFT, and internal systems
  • Develop on-demand security awareness training and briefings for the workforce
  • Create standard operating procedures, playbooks, and metrics reporting for Federal leadership
  • Support planning, accreditation, and operation of future SCIF facilities and CJIS personnel security programs for state and local customers

What you'll bring

  • Active U.S. government security clearance at Secret level minimum (Top Secret preferred) with eligibility for SCI access
  • Five or more years of hands-on experience in industrial or personnel security at a cleared contractor, government security office, or military environment
  • Demonstrated expertise with NISPOM, DCSA processes, and DD254 administration
  • Working knowledge of DISS-JVS, NISS, SWFT, and NBIS eApp systems
  • Collaborative approach to sharing information and expanding responsibilities alongside colleagues
  • Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and sound judgment
  • Process-oriented mindset focused on simplifying and automating outcomes
  • Self-directed work style with ownership and resilience in ambiguous situations

Nice to have

  • SCIF or ICD 705 experience
  • Familiarity with NIST SP 800-53, FedRAMP, or DoD IL5
  • ISP, PMP, CISSP, or CISM certification
