As a Manager of Field Application Scientists covering North America, you'll lead a team supporting customers across the region while driving adoption of Unchained Labs' product portfolio.

What you'll do

• Lead, mentor and motivate a team of field application scientists while maintaining focus on innovation and growth
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, internal product teams and senior leadership
• Deliver technical presentations, seminars and live demonstrations of Unchained Labs analytical instruments to prospects and customers
• Gather detailed technical feedback from the field on customer requirements and product performance, then communicate insights to internal teams
• Oversee instrument installation, quality control verification and customer training activities
• Provide frontline technical support for complex customer issues and coordinate escalations with internal teams
• Manage customer accounts post-sale to drive retention and expand usage
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM system documenting customer interactions, issues and outcomes
• Keep expert-level knowledge of Unchained Labs product capabilities and applications

What you'll bring

• Master's degree in Biochemistry or related scientific discipline (PhD preferred)
• Three to four years of experience as a Field Application Scientist or Senior Field Application Scientist, or one to two years in a technical leadership role within biotech
• Proven track record designing biological assays and resolving complex scientific challenges
• Hands-on experience with protein stability applications and related workflows
• Teaching, training or mentoring experience in technical settings
• Strong collaborative mindset and ability to influence colleagues and leadership
• Capability to travel up to 50 percent overnight
• Ability to lift 40 pounds regularly

• Base salary of 110,000 to 135,000 USD annually
