Operations Manager, Payments (Kazakhstan)

The Operations Manager role is newly created as Binance expands its licensed payment business into Kazakhstan and the CIS region. You'll be responsible for launching and scaling the local fiat operations from the ground up, managing everything from day-to-day execution to regulatory strategy.

Your responsibilities include

Establishing and managing fiat operations locally, including product localization tailored to the market and supporting the business through regulatory navigation. Gathering feedback directly from local users and communities while analyzing competitor activity to continuously improve the service. Building partnerships with local banks, payment providers, and blockchain communities to increase fiat adoption and market awareness. Identifying and developing relationships with fiat on-ramps, KYC vendors, and other key partners in the ecosystem. Creating go-to-market strategies designed to drive fiat volume growth through targeted content and promotional initiatives. Maintaining relationships with regulators, financial institutions, and payment partners as a trusted point of contact. Staying current on local regulations and providing strategic counsel based on that knowledge.

You bring at least 5 years of experience leading a business unit, driving business development, or spearheading growth at a crypto or blockchain company, bank, or financial institution. You have deep familiarity with local communities and understand the crypto space intimately. You're results-oriented, thrive in team environments, and approach problems with creative problem-solving. You're genuinely passionate about cryptocurrency and digital assets. Fluency in Russian and English is required. Kazakh language skills are strongly preferred.
