Software and AI Engineer

The Strategy and Transformation team at CoreWeave develops intelligent internal systems that streamline company operations. This team works across Finance, Supply Chain, HR, Legal, and data center functions to create AI-powered applications and workflows that connect enterprise platforms including ERP, HRIS, MRP, PDM, and DCIM systems. They're seeking a Software and AI Engineer to help build these next-generation tools.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain features for internal AI agents, copilots, and custom applications that serve multiple business functions.
• Build user interfaces using React, TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks.
• Write backend services and automation scripts in Node.js, Go, or Python to handle data processing and orchestrate workflows.
• Integrate large language model APIs and AI capabilities into applications using LangChain, LangGraph, OpenAI, Gemini, or similar frameworks.
• Construct and maintain APIs and enterprise integrations across systems like Workato or Boomi.
• Write tests, debug issues, perform code reviews, and add logging and monitoring to ensure application stability.
• Use AI-assisted development tools including Cursor, Claude, and GitHub Copilot while carefully reviewing generated code.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and business stakeholders to understand requirements and incorporate feedback into your work.

What you'll bring

• At least two years of hands-on software development experience through professional roles, internships, or substantial personal projects.
• Working proficiency in TypeScript, Python, Go, Java, C#, or C++.
• Solid grasp of programming fundamentals, data structures, debugging techniques, and testing practices.
• Experience building web applications or backend services using frameworks like React, Next.js, Node.js, or FastAPI.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, databases, relational and otherwise, and how applications integrate with each other.
• Experience with Git version control, collaborative development workflows, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Comfort learning new technologies quickly, accepting feedback, and completing well-scoped work with guidance from senior engineers.
• Clear communication skills and genuine interest in building tools that boost business efficiency and employee experience.

Nice to have

• Previous experience developing AI applications, chatbots, or automation workflows.
• Exposure to integration platforms like Workato or Boomi.
• Python or Bash scripting experience.
• Familiarity with containers, application monitoring tools, or cloud deployment practices.

What they offer

• Base salary ranging from 120,000 to 160,000 dollars, determined by experience, skills, and geographic location.
• Full-time positions available in Sunnyvale California, Bellevue Washington, or Dallas Texas.
