Business Analyst

Token2049 is a blockchain and Web3 events platform based in Singapore and Hong Kong. The company organizes major conferences and builds technology infrastructure for the crypto industry, bringing together founders, investors, and builders globally. As a growing organization navigating rapid expansion, Token2049 needs someone who can streamline operations and unlock efficiency through smart technology.

This Business Analyst role sits within the Product team and reports to the Product Lead. You'll be the bridge between operational challenges and technical solutions, spotting where friction exists and deciding whether to build low-code automations yourself or hand off scope to engineering for more complex builds.

What you'll actually do

Audit workflows across departments to pinpoint inefficiencies, redundant steps, and data gaps - then propose technology-based fixes that scale.

Build and deploy automations using Airtable, Make, Zapier, or similar platforms to eliminate manual work and tighten data quality.

Translate business problems into functional requirements and user stories alongside Product and Engineering, making sure everyone's aligned before code gets written.

Validate technical solutions by weighing business impact, feasibility, and effort - recommending the smartest path forward.

Manage product documentation, checklists, and QA processes so launches stay tracked and on time.

Monitor project timelines and dependencies across multiple workstreams, flagging blockers early and keeping stakeholders updated.

Work across Design, Operations, Marketing, and external partners to roll out product features and automation cleanly.

You'll need

One to three years in a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or Associate Product Manager position.

University degree from a recognized institution.

Strong analytical mindset with systems-level thinking - you spot patterns and root causes.

Hands-on experience with low-code and no-code platforms like Airtable, Make, Zapier, or Notion.

Clear written and spoken communication, plus genuine interpersonal skills.

Meticulous attention to detail and ability to solve problems critically.

Self-motivation and genuine ownership of outcomes.

Project management discipline - you plan, track, and adapt as priorities shift.

Genuine passion for crypto and AI fundamentals.

Nice to have

Background in event tech or conference operations.
