Mercor operates five days a week in-person across San Francisco, New York City, and London offices. The company is experiencing rapid growth and views talent acquisition as a strategic priority for scaling operations.

In this full-cycle recruiting role on the Talent team, you'll own hiring across multiple departments with particular emphasis on the Delivery organization. You'll partner with General Managers and Account Leads to identify and place high-performing operators who work directly with leading AI labs. This is an opportunity to establish recruiting infrastructure from the ground up at a fast-growing company.

What you'll do

• Manage complete recruiting cycles from sourcing through offer close for roles spanning marketing, finance, people operations, and especially operations teams

• Map organizational needs with leadership and implement ongoing process improvements to hiring workflows

• Develop candidate pipelines using creative outbound strategies, talent intelligence tools, and Mercor's proprietary assessment platform including structured screens and calibrated evaluation rubrics

• Train hiring managers and interview panels on best practices for structured interviewing, role leveling, and decision quality

• Build and monitor recruiting metrics and performance indicators including conversion rates, time spent in each stage, and source effectiveness

• Drive hiring speed and candidate experience through same-day debriefs, rapid offer cycles, and strong communication

• Develop employer brand through targeted campaigns, referral programs, and recruiting events to attract engineering and operational talent

• Represent Mercor's brand externally to compete in a demanding talent marketplace

• Work within Ashby and related systems to build dashboards, reporting infrastructure, and process automation

• Refine technical hiring strategies as the Ops organization increases hiring from technical backgrounds

What you'll bring

• Proven experience executing full-cycle recruiting for both individual contributor and leadership positions

• Track record building and scaling hiring systems, establishing key performance metrics, and using data to drive recruiting decisions

• High-energy, outcome-focused approach suited to hypergrowth environments where hiring directly impacts business trajectory

• Strong communication abilities enabling effective collaboration with General Managers, Account Leads, and senior leadership

• Knowledge of diverse role requirements with particular strength in go-to-market, strategy, and operations hiring, plus some familiarity with technical roles like software engineers

• Ability to authentically represent Mercor's brand when engaging with top-tier candidates

• Experience with Ashby recruiting software or demonstrated ability to quickly master new platforms and systems

Nice to have

• Background as a founding recruiter or early-stage company builder

• Genuine interest in human data and AI advancement

• Technical recruiting background, given Mercor's increasing focus on hiring technical professionals into client-facing operator positions
