Product Manager, Identity (Mid)

In this Product Manager role on the Identity team, you'll own the complete roadmap for authentication and identity verification systems. Your mandate spans sign-in and multi-factor authentication, KYC tiers and risk scoring, sanctions screening, and document verification workflows. You'll drive improvements to onboarding funnels by reducing drop-off during document capture while balancing conversion rates, fraud prevention, and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

What you'll do

• Own and prioritize the authentication and identity verification roadmap, weighing conversion gains against fraud and risk reduction and regulatory requirements
• Optimize onboarding flows to decrease abandonment in document capture and verification without compromising fraud detection or conversion
• Manage third-party KYC and identity verification vendors, assessing their performance, pricing, and regional availability
• Translate compliance and legal requirements into actionable product specifications and regional rollout plans
• Collaborate with Engineering to deploy authentication changes safely, preventing account takeover and fraud exposure
• Define and monitor key funnel metrics across the identity verification journey
• Represent Identity in cross-functional planning sessions with Risk, Fraud, Compliance, and Legal teams

What you'll bring

• At least 4 years in product management with substantial experience in identity verification, KYC/AML, fraud prevention, or authentication and security products
• Working knowledge of KYC/AML and authentication concepts and frameworks
• Direct experience evaluating or managing third-party identity and KYC vendors
• Ability to navigate regulated, multi-region environments where product behavior shifts by jurisdiction

Nice to have

• Background in fintech, crypto, or other regulated marketplaces
• Experience with sanctions screening, PEP and adverse media checks, or transaction monitoring
• Exposure to crypto-native authentication methods like wallet-based sign-in or Sign in with Ethereum
