Senior Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Engineer to lead engineering activities, drive technical improvements, and ensure the successful execution of engineering projects. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams to deliver high-quality, reliable, and cost-effective engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee engineering projects from planning and design through implementation and completion.

Develop, review, and improve engineering designs, processes, specifications, and technical documentation.

Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to junior engineers and other team members.

Identify technical challenges, conduct root cause analysis, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.

Ensure engineering activities comply with applicable standards, regulations, safety requirements, and company procedures.

Monitor project progress, resource utilization, quality, costs, and timelines.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to achieve project objectives.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reliability, quality, and productivity.

Prepare technical reports, project updates, and recommendations for management.

Support the implementation of new technologies, engineering methods, and best practices.

Qualifications and Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.

Minimum of 5–8 years of relevant engineering experience, including experience handling complex projects or technical assignments.

Strong technical knowledge and practical experience in the relevant engineering discipline.

Proven ability to lead technical activities, solve complex problems, and make sound engineering decisions.

Good understanding of applicable engineering standards, safety requirements, and quality management principles.

Experience with relevant engineering software, tools, and technical documentation.

Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and project management skills.

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Demonstrated leadership, initiative, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

Professional engineering certification or other relevant industry credentials.

Experience managing projects, leading technical teams, or coordinating with external vendors and contractors.

Experience implementing process improvements, cost optimization, or reliability initiatives.
