The Cloud Engineering team at Webflow is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help design and expand Webflow Cloud, a platform that enables builders and marketing professionals to construct, launch, and operate complete web applications with support from cloud-based AI agents. Working remotely from Argentina, you'll contribute to infrastructure and services that power this growing platform.

What you'll do

• Design and maintain dependable cloud services running on AWS and Cloudflare, leveraging expertise across compute resources, data storage, networking infrastructure, and managed platforms.

• Develop and enhance the foundational systems that support web applications and AI agents within Webflow Cloud.

• Take part in scheduled on-call duties, analyze production failures, and implement solutions to reduce future occurrences.

• Work with CDN and edge computing tools to enable customers to deliver fast and reliable digital experiences globally.

• Lead feature development from initial customer discovery through architectural planning, coding, deployment, and continuous refinement.

• Incorporate AI-assisted coding methods to increase development velocity while exercising sound technical judgment and maintaining high code standards.

• Contribute to broader engineering efforts including technical documentation, interview panel participation, and internal innovation initiatives.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional background.

• Five or more years of hands-on experience building and managing backend services in live production environments.

• Proven capability in designing backend architectures, establishing service boundaries, defining communication protocols, and managing data ownership at scale.

• Professional-level English communication skills across written and spoken contexts.

• Experience with AWS, Cloudflare, or comparable cloud infrastructure platforms.

• Proficiency designing database schemas, tuning database queries, and operating production-grade systems like PostgreSQL or MongoDB.

• Strong command of TypeScript and Node.js, with familiarity in edge computing environments.

• Solid understanding of web fundamentals including HTTP, caching strategies, content delivery networks, and edge computing architectures.

• Commitment to implementing quality standards for performance, security, accessibility, and system reliability.

• Ability to leverage AI tools effectively in your technical workflows and professional growth.
