AI Deployment Manager - Japan

In this role, you'll serve as the primary point of contact for Cursor's most important enterprise customers in Japan, managing the complete post-sale experience from initial deployment through long-term growth. You'll work across technical and business teams to ensure organizations maximize value from Cursor's platform, guide adoption strategies, and advocate for customer needs within the company.

What you'll do

• Oversee a portfolio of key enterprise accounts, taking ownership of customer success metrics including retention, product adoption, and revenue expansion

• Partner with engineering leadership and executives at client organizations to articulate business impact and guide their digital transformation journey

• Design and execute comprehensive rollout programs that include technical onboarding, team enablement, and scaled deployment across organizations

• Identify high-value use cases and work with customers to build sustainable, repeatable processes that drive lasting adoption

• Track account performance through usage analytics and health indicators to inform renewal strategies and identify growth opportunities

• Serve as the customer advocate internally, translating feedback into insights that shape Cursor's product direction

What you'll bring

• Proven success in customer-facing roles that require bridging business strategy and technical execution

• Strong ability to distill complex customer challenges into clear technical roadmaps and measurable success criteria

• Deep familiarity with modern software development organizations, engineering workflows, developer tools, and how teams adopt new platforms

• Comfort engaging across organizational levels, from individual developers to C-suite executives

• Data-driven mindset with operational rigor to prioritize initiatives and drive accountability

• Hands-on experience using Cursor or comparable AI tools for coding and knowledge work, with informed perspective on what excellence looks like

• Fluent Japanese and professional-level English
