About the role

Webflow is a web marketing platform that empowers modern teams to build, manage, and optimize digital experiences at scale. The company combines speed with craftsmanship, attracting talent who want to shape how the web evolves and help organizations drive measurable growth through stronger digital presence.

Founded in 2013, Webflow has grown to become a leading visual development platform trusted by thousands of organizations worldwide. The company operates with a commitment to quality and innovation, supporting both individual creators and enterprise teams in building sophisticated web experiences without compromise.

You'll join Webflow's Education team as a Senior Developer Educator, creating high-quality video, written, and hands-on learning content for customers and aspiring web professionals. In this role, you'll combine technical expertise with on-camera presence, building real production websites that demonstrate Webflow's capabilities while keeping your own development skills current.

What you'll do

  • Create and maintain reference websites used across Webflow University courses and tutorials—production-grade sites and components that meet developer and designer standards, not simplified demos
  • Collaborate with instructional designers and video producers to scope curriculum content, determining what each lesson should demonstrate and establishing the educational reasoning behind it
  • Present technical content on camera for tutorials, course modules, and live training sessions, explaining code and design decisions with the clarity of someone who built the work
  • Partner with video producers and instructional designers through every phase—pre-production planning, filming, and review—to ensure on-screen content empowers learners to apply what they've learned
  • Serve as the education team's technical authority, reviewing content for accuracy and testing it against real-world development workflows and practices
  • Monitor the technical library as the platform evolves, identifying outdated content, prioritizing rebuilds, and recognizing new topics worth teaching
  • Work with product and engineering teams to anticipate upcoming features, ensuring education content launches alongside new capabilities rather than lagging behind

What you'll bring

  • At least four years of professional experience in technical education combined with web development and/or design work
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with the ability to write, review, and explain code effectively, leveraging AI tools to improve productivity and quality
  • Demonstrated success teaching technical concepts to mixed audiences through video, documentation, courses, workshops, or community engagement
  • Comfort and capability presenting on camera, whether working from an outline, a script, a studio, or your own home setup
  • Ability to communicate effectively with multiple audience types—visual developers new to coding, engineers evaluating Webflow for their workflows, and marketers using pre-built components
  • A learning mindset that embraces AI and emerging technologies, actively building fluency to improve how teams work and expand impact
  • Openness to feedback on on-camera work as a craft skill rather than personal criticism
  • Genuine passion for education and helping others succeed in their technical growth

What they offer

  • Equity ownership through Restricted Stock Units in Webflow's privately held company
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage for full-time employees and dependents with Webflow covering most premiums
  • Full-time permanent position reporting to the Director, Education Video
  • Geographic pay zones reflecting cost of labor: Zone A $129,000–$155,000, Zone B $121,500–$146,000, Zone C $113,000–$136,000, plus eligibility for performance-based company bonuses tied to financial and operational goals
  • Monthly travel to San Francisco headquarters (approximately one week per month)
