This is a contractor position supporting the Alpheratz Project, where you will help maintain translation quality standards for customer-facing content. The work is flexible and project-based, with tasks assigned throughout the year based on client demand. You would typically commit around 1-2 hours per week, though volumes and timing can fluctuate.

What you'll do

• Review and edit machine-translated customer service materials, ensuring accuracy and consistency against established guidelines.
• Assess the quality of machine translation output and assign severity ratings according to project specifications.
• Create human translations that serve as reference material for model training and quality benchmarking.
• Adhere to provided style guides, tone conventions, and terminology databases for all work.
• Monitor translation patterns, flag recurring quality issues, and report trends to the project team.
