This remote contractor position joins Welo Global's Global Languages Services team to support localization initiatives for a major technology company. You will work primarily with English-to-Tagalog translation and linguistic review across four content verticals: marketing materials, legal documentation, online help systems, and product support resources. The engagement averages one to two hours per day and operates on a flexible daily freelance basis, making it suitable for language professionals seeking consistent part-time remote work.

What you'll do

• Translate, copy edit, and perform linguistic review on marketing, legal, online help, product, and support content from English into Tagalog (Philippines)
• Execute machine translation post-editing (MTPE) tasks to refine automated translations to professional standards
• Conduct quality assurance and quality control reviews to ensure adherence to client specifications
• Work within the client's localization platforms and workflows while meeting agreed delivery deadlines and quality benchmarks

What you'll bring

• Native or near-native proficiency in Tagalog (Philippines) paired with strong English-language competency
• Proven professional experience translating and localizing marketing, legal, online help, product, or support materials
• Demonstrated expertise using Computer Assisted Translation (CAT) tools
• Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Translation, or equivalent professional experience of three or more years
• Clear communication abilities and reliability in meeting daily project schedules

Nice to have

• Familiarity with technology industry terminology and product localization workflows
• Prior experience with major enterprise client platforms
