Binance Accelerator Program - Internal Audit (Technology)

The Binance Accelerator Program is a 3-6 month internship designed for early-career professionals entering the crypto and blockchain space. Participants gain hands-on experience in a fast-growing digital assets environment, develop technical and professional skills, and build networks that support long-term career advancement.

You'll join the Technology Audit team within Internal Audit, which provides independent oversight of Binance's technology landscape including IT general controls, application and infrastructure security, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, and access management. In this role, you'll work on real audit engagements across a complex, fast-moving engineering organization.

What you'll do

• Assist in planning and executing technology audits covering IT general controls, application controls, infrastructure, cloud services, and cybersecurity
• Test key controls including logical access, identity management, change management, system development lifecycle, and IT operations
• Review cloud configurations on AWS, GCP, and Alibaba Cloud platforms, plus evaluate CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices against control frameworks
• Write scripts and tools in Python or SQL to automate audit procedures, monitoring, and data analysis
• Extract and analyze logs, system data, and databases to surface control gaps, anomalies, and risk areas
• Document findings in workpapers, reports, and presentations for the audit team
• Coordinate with auditors, engineers, security teams, and compliance stakeholders on risk assessments and remediation

What you'll bring

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Engineering, or related discipline
• Strong foundational knowledge of operating systems, databases, networks, cloud infrastructure, and software development lifecycle
• Hands-on ability with Python, SQL, and data analysis tools; experience working with logs and large datasets
• Bilingual fluency in English and Mandarin to coordinate with international partners and stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to interpret technical concepts and communicate them clearly to non-technical audiences
• Detail-oriented with high standards for accuracy and integrity
• Genuine interest in technology risk, information security, and IT audit practices

Nice to have

• Familiarity with control frameworks such as COBIT, NIST, ISO 27001, or SOC 2
• Experience with cloud platforms, containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD systems, or infrastructure-as-code
• Knowledge of identity management, encryption, vulnerability assessment, logging, and monitoring
• Interest in blockchain, smart contracts, or Web3 security risks
• Prior internships or projects in IT audit, technology risk, cybersecurity, or data analytics
• Progress toward certifications like CISA, CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or cloud practitioner credentials
