Blockchain Security Expert - AI Track

You'll join the Blockchain Security Engineering team in a remote, full-time role focused on an emerging frontier: building intelligent AI agents powered by large language models to revolutionize how smart contracts are audited. This position bridges academic research with real-world security solutions. Your work will directly shape the next generation of automated threat detection in blockchain environments.

What you'll do

• Partner with the blockchain security team to develop and refine LLM-based AI agents that power security audit tools
• Design and run experiments testing novel AI techniques for detecting threats and assessing risk in smart contracts
• Translate research breakthroughs on AI agents into scalable, production-ready security solutions
• Stay on top of emerging developments in large language models, agent architectures, and cybersecurity, then propose concrete improvements to our platform
• Evaluate and optimize how AI agents analyze code vulnerabilities across different blockchain projects

What you'll bring

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a science or engineering discipline
• At least 2 years working in security or software development
• Practical knowledge of blockchain and smart contract technologies
• Experience with agentic coding tools such as Cursor, Windsurf, or Cline
• Strong problem-solving ability, curiosity about new technologies, and collaborative mindset

Nice to have

• Previous research or project work building AI agents or automated security analysis systems
• Track record of turning research ideas into working production tools
• Background in web3 security auditing
• Direct experience evaluating blockchain project risks or investigating on-chain security incidents
