What you'll do

• Design and improve high-volume transaction broadcasting pipelines, managing the full transaction lifecycle including detection, retry, rebroadcast, and recovery of stuck transactions
• Build wallet infrastructure and automation systems that safely handle parallel transaction processing while maintaining financial correctness, reconciliation, and auditability
• Develop cross-chain and multi-step transaction orchestration systems that handle non-atomic flows across chains, including fiat-to-on-chain conversions, with robust state machines for partial failure scenarios
• Support routing mechanics and swap execution while considering price impact, liquidity changes, and MEV awareness
• Take end-to-end ownership of features and integrations, collaborating with Product Managers on scalable implementation strategies
• Develop thoroughly tested, high-quality code and continuously improve reliability, alerting, and system resilience as transaction volume and complexity grow

What you'll bring

• Strong backend and platform engineering fundamentals with proven experience operating production systems with real uptime requirements
• Hands-on production experience interacting with live blockchain networks, with deep understanding of transaction lifecycle and failure recovery in at least one blockchain
• The ability to think in failure modes rather than just happy paths, and to explain a real production incident end-to-end
• Experience with at least one wallet infrastructure system such as Ethereum, Bitcoin, or Solana, or familiarity with custody systems
• Awareness of MEV, slippages, pricing impact, and swap execution risks
• Experience with high-throughput or financial systems

Nice to have

• Background from exchanges, custody providers, wallet infrastructure teams, or high-volume DeFi platforms
• Knowledge of UTXO-based chains including coin selection and fee bumping strategies
• Familiarity with blockchain indexing or event ingestion pipelines
• Understanding of token standards like ERC-20 and SPL, and backend interaction with smart contracts
