Blockchain Security Engineer - (Solidity / Rust / Golang)

The Blockchain Security Engineering team is looking for a Junior Blockchain Security Engineer to join us remotely in the US. You'll work on identifying vulnerabilities across smart contracts, blockchain protocols, and decentralized applications while contributing to CertiK's mission of securing the industry at scale.

What you'll do

• Audit and review codebases for smart contracts, blockchain protocols, and dApps to spot and fix vulnerabilities
• Conduct guided security research to explore new attack vectors and deliver actionable findings
• Help design, develop, and maintain internal security tools and frameworks
• Support improvements to internal processes and methodologies to strengthen client deliverables

What you'll bring

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mathematics, Computer Science, or Information Security
• At least one year of hands-on experience with blockchain technologies, including smart contracts on EVM chains, Solana, Move, or other platforms, plus blockchain protocol work with nodes, SDKs, and Cosmos
• Background in threat modeling, risk assessment, and security analysis
• Proficiency in Rust, Go, Solidity, Python, or similar languages
• Genuine passion for cryptocurrency, DeFi, and blockchain technologies

Nice to have

• Academic or practical expertise in Mathematics, Cryptography, or Cybersecurity
• Direct audit experience with leading Web3 protocols
• Published CVEs or strong results from Attackathons, Bug Bounties, or Audit Contests
