Product Manager On-Ramp & Swap (100% remote)

You'll be joining Tether's Product team to lead the on-ramp and swap strategy for Tether Wallet, the self-custodial platform bringing USDT and XAUT to users in underserved markets. This role sits at the intersection of product, payments, and partnerships, requiring you to own the entire journey from partner evaluation through integration and launch performance.

What you'll do

• Define and own the buy and swap roadmap for USDT and XAUT across target markets, covering fiat on-ramps, card payments, local payment methods and token-to-token swaps.

• Partner with expansion teams to map the payment landscape in each market, identifying dominant payment methods, card schemes, bank rails, mobile money systems, and active on-ramp and swap providers.

• Establish evaluation criteria for partner selection including market coverage, fees, FX spreads, approval rates, KYC experience, settlement speed, reliability and compliance, then identify the optimal partner for each market.

• Lead partner onboarding from evaluation through go-live, coordinating with Legal, Compliance and Business Development on due diligence, commercial terms and contracting.

• Translate partner capabilities into product requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria, working with engineering and design to deliver seamless in-app experiences.

• Define routing logic that matches users to the best available partner and payment method based on country, currency, amount, price and availability.

• Track KPIs across the funnel including conversion rates, payment approval rates, KYC drop-off, total user cost and volume by market and partner, using data to optimize performance and manage partner relationships.

What you'll bring

• 5+ years of product management experience in financial services, banking, payments or FinTech.

• 3+ years of product management experience in DeFi or crypto.

• Strong understanding of crypto wallets and DeFi features including token swaps, DEX aggregators and on-chain transaction flows.

• Deep knowledge of global payment systems and credit card schemes like Visa and Mastercard, including authorization flows, 3-D Secure and chargebacks, plus familiarity with local payment methods such as bank transfers, instant payment rails and mobile money.

• Excellent English communication skills and ability to work effectively across a distributed global team.
