The Regional Director for Data Security will oversee sales operations across two major geographic regions, managing a specialized team focused on data protection solutions. This is a field-based leadership position reporting to the Global Vice President of Specialty Sales, combining strategic territory management with hands-on team development.

What you'll do

• Lead, recruit, and mentor a team of 10 Data Security Specialist Account Executives across EMEA and APJ, creating individualized development plans and coaching staff to exceed revenue targets.
• Operate as general manager of assigned territories, developing comprehensive regional strategy and maintaining accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting.
• Collaborate across matrix structure including regional sales leadership, field teams, marketing, and channel partners to drive revenue growth in complex organizational environments.
• Partner with Product Management, Product Marketing, and Services to advocate for field feedback and implement continuous improvements across the business.

What you'll bring

• Minimum 10 years of full-cycle sales experience in software or security industries, with progressive exposure to enterprise-level selling and C-suite engagement.
• At least 3 years of proven team leadership experience managing sales personnel.
• Demonstrated success managing sales operations across EMEA and/or APJ regions.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Foundational understanding of AI and machine learning technologies, with ability to position AI-driven security solutions to customers.
• Ownership mentality combining strategic thinking with execution bias, collaborative approach to feedback and challenge culture, and customer-centric problem solving.
