Senior Sales Engineer, Majors - Colorado

You'll join the Public Sector Field Sales team as a Senior Sales Engineer supporting major accounts in the Western region. Reporting to the Manager of Sales Engineering, you'll work remotely from Colorado while engaging directly with prospective government and enterprise customers. Your technical expertise will be central to demonstrating how Zscaler's security platform delivers agility and resilience in the AI era.

What you'll do

• Develop and deliver technical presentations on Zscaler's cloud security products to prospective customers and stakeholders

• Interview customers to understand their technical requirements and confirm that proposed solutions align with their business objectives

• Oversee product evaluations, manage custom configurations, and design evaluation test plans that lead to successful outcomes

• Guide customers through the technical validation process while representing Zscaler's capabilities

What you'll bring

• Five or more years working as a Sales Engineer or Network Systems integrator

• Strong cybersecurity and networking foundation with hands-on knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, routing, VPN, and firewalls

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience

• Demonstrated curiosity about AI tools and a track record of applying new technologies to enhance your problem-solving approach

• Customer-focused mindset combined with ownership mentality and resilience in high-pressure environments

Nice to have

• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CCNA, Network+, CCNP, CCIE, or Security+

• Proficiency with AI coding assistants, large language models, and generative AI tools for accelerating troubleshooting and solution design

• Base salary range of $154,875 to $221,250 USD, excluding commission, bonus, and equity
