Senior QA Engineer (Rust/Java), Margin

The Margin team is hiring a Senior QA Engineer to strengthen quality and stability across its margin trading products and risk systems. You'll work alongside engineers, product managers, and operations teams throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring that complex trading workflows and high-concurrency systems perform reliably at scale.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks using Java and/or Rust, focusing on margin trading workflows, risk controls, and systems handling high concurrency.

• Collaborate with software engineers and product managers to shape testing strategies and provide feedback on system design for margin trading features and risk control mechanisms.

• Build and oversee testing environments, creating detailed test plans for margin calculations, liquidation processes, and complex trading scenarios across web, mobile, backend, and distributed systems.

• Execute multiple testing approaches including black-box, white-box, security, performance, and automation testing.

• Keep pace with emerging Java and Rust technologies and testing practices, refining automation frameworks and raising overall product quality.

What you'll bring

• At least 3 years of hands-on QA automation or software testing experience, ideally in fintech, trading platforms, or similar technical environments.

• Solid programming ability in Java and/or Rust with knowledge of automated testing frameworks, distributed systems architecture, and high-concurrency design patterns.

• Strong debugging skills and ability to investigate root causes of performance and system problems.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI tools or large language models in testing contexts.
