Their platform works with global vehicle manufacturers to enable vehicles to navigate complex urban environments safely and efficiently. The company operates a distributed testing program across multiple continents to validate and improve their AI systems.

The Fleet Operations team in Leonberg is responsible for the day-to-day execution of on-road testing and vehicle deployment. • Manage shift schedules, task assignments, and resource allocation to meet operational targets and company KPIs
  • Conduct documented one-on-one check-ins with each team member monthly, addressing performance issues and supporting professional development
  • Enforce safety protocols and operational procedures, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations
  • Monitor the quality of vehicle testing activities, documenting any issues and escalating concerns to the Quality Assurance team
  • Serve as the incident response lead on your shift, following the company's Major Incident Management Plan and preparing detailed reports
  • Prepare shift documentation covering performance metrics, incidents, and any deviations from standard procedures
  • Work with Quality Assurance to coordinate training initiatives for your team
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions to maintain continuity and efficiency
  • Act as the primary communicator between your team, management, and other departments during operating hours

What you'll bring

  • A full, clean German driving license with a minimum of five years driving experience in Europe
  • Demonstrated ability to remain composed and effective under pressure
  • A growth mindset that welcomes feedback and learns from setbacks
  • Strong interpersonal skills and genuine enjoyment of collaborative team environments
  • Healthy personal strategies for managing stress, fatigue, and overall wellbeing
  • Prior experience coordinating teams or in a similar supervisory capacity
  • Excellent leadership and communication abilities in individual, team, and cross-departmental settings
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple competing priorities
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office applications
  • Fluency in both English and German
  • Problem-solving ability and meticulous attention to detail

Nice to have

  • Background leading vehicle testing, autonomous vehicle environments, or technical demonstrations
  • Familiarity with autonomous vehicle technology or AV systems
  • T1 and T2 Bertha certifications

What they offer

  • Full-time permanent employment
  • Shift-based work with rotating early (6:30–15:00) and late (14:30–23:00) schedules, including weekends and public holidays
  • Primarily onsite work at the Leonberg office with limited remote flexibility by exception
  • Subject to health screening and random drug and alcohol testing as part of employment conditions
