Engagement Manager, AI Implementations

Tether is a pioneering fintech organization reshaping digital finance through reserve-backed stablecoins, decentralized AI infrastructure, sustainable energy solutions, and educational initiatives. The company operates as a distributed global team, combining technical innovation with institutional trust to serve exchanges, payment processors, governments, and enterprises worldwide. Tether Data, the company's AI and infrastructure division, is expanding its deployment of QVAC, a software development kit enabling local AI inference and privacy-preserving compute across enterprise and institutional environments.

As Engagement Manager for AI Implementations, you will lead client deployments of Tether's decentralized AI solutions, serving as the central point of contact throughout the onboarding and execution lifecycle. This role sits within the Expansion team and requires you to coordinate complex, multi-stakeholder implementations across enterprise, government, and institutional sectors. You'll combine client relationship management, technical coordination, and delivery oversight to ensure AI initiatives move from initial planning through production rollout successfully.

What you'll do

• Serve as primary client contact during AI implementation projects, maintaining clear communication around expectations, requirements, and structured execution timelines
• Translate client business needs into concrete AI deployment strategies using QVAC capabilities, including local inference, delegated compute, and privacy-preserving system architectures
• Manage end-to-end implementation coordination from project kickoff through production deployment, defining roadmaps, milestones, and interdependencies across AI models, infrastructure, and integration work
• Coordinate with product, engineering, and research teams to ensure client expectations align with actual QVAC capabilities and roadmap direction, preventing scope creep
• Track progress across multiple concurrent deployments, identifying risks and blockers while maintaining timely delivery and production readiness
• Work with legal and compliance teams on sensitive implementations involving data residency or privacy requirements
• Create governance frameworks including implementation plans, risk tracking, and decision documentation; produce executive summaries on progress and escalations
• Identify opportunities to expand implementations across additional use cases, geographies, or Tether product offerings

What you'll bring

• Five or more years of program management, technical account management, or delivery leadership experience in AI, data infrastructure, or complex technology sectors
• Proven track record managing cross-functional implementations with multiple stakeholder groups including internal teams, clients, and external partners
• Strong ability to operate effectively across technical and business domains, translating between engineering constraints and client objectives
• Familiarity with AI and machine learning deployment concepts, including model inference, edge and local AI architectures, and distributed compute systems
• Understanding of APIs, software development kit integration patterns, and system architecture design
• Excellent English communication skills and ability to facilitate structured stakeholder communication across implementation lifecycles
• Demonstrated capability in escalation management and problem resolution in complex technical environments

• Experience with blockchain or Web3 technology deployments
• Familiarity with privacy-preserving compute or federated learning concepts
• Background in energy infrastructure or sustainable technology projects
