About the role
GTM Programs Manager
Anthropic builds AI systems designed to be safe, reliable, and interpretable. Founded by researchers and engineers focused on beneficial AI development, the company is rapidly scaling its go-to-market organization to serve customers and advance the field responsibly. Anthropic operates across multiple offices with a remote-friendly model and is actively hiring for strategic roles that shape how the company engages with the market.
This is a strategic, individual contributor position on Anthropic's Sales team. You'll manage a portfolio of cross-functional go-to-market initiatives that span Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, Revenue Operations, Enablement, Finance, Legal, and Partnerships. You'll work with high autonomy on the company's most critical GTM challenges, moving from loosely scoped business problems to structured solutions and measured results.
What you'll do
- Own strategic GTM programs end to end, from problem scoping through launch, operationalization, results measurement, and iteration. Programs range from customer activation and seller efficiency to model launches and urgent field questions.
- Partner with Sales and GTM leadership to identify, scope, and prioritize initiatives. You'll make the case for which programs deserve resources and which should be declined.
- Convert ambiguous problems into structured analysis, defensible models, and clear execution plans with defined owners, milestones, and decision points.
- Drive alignment and execution across teams without direct authority, managing stakeholder buy-in while maintaining pace toward solutions.
- Present program status and outcomes to senior executives and manage adoption by the field through change management, success metrics reporting, and process design.
- Build templates, cadences, and reporting infrastructure that enable future programs to launch effectively.
- Use AI tools daily to analyze data, build models, and work faster across all program work.
What you'll bring
- Track record leading complex cross-functional programs from problem definition through delivery in strategy consulting, in-house strategy and operations, GTM or sales programs, or program management.
- Ability to turn ambiguous problems into clear, defensible recommendations backed by analysis and data.
- Experience driving initiatives to completion across teams you don't manage, including when senior stakeholders disagreed.
- Strong analytical capabilities: building business cases, constructing quantitative models, defining targets, and independently pulling and analyzing data from CRM and BI tools.
- Clear communication in writing and verbally, with demonstrated experience presenting analysis and recommendations to senior and executive leadership.
- Understanding of how enterprise sales organizations operate.
- Experience building programs or processes from scratch and owning results through to completion.
- Genuine motivation to advance Anthropic's mission of developing safe and beneficial AI.
Nice to have
- Background in strategy consulting followed by an in-house role building and running programs.
- Hands-on daily experience with AI tools, including building workflows with Claude or similar platforms.
- Experience at companies selling technical or AI products.
- Track record in early-stage team or function building.
What they offer
- Annual compensation range of $270,000 to $310,000 USD (On Target Earnings for this role).
- Visa sponsorship available, with immigration legal support.
- Flexible remote work with expectation of office presence at least 25% of the time across San Francisco, New York, or other Anthropic locations.
Pay, location & hours
$270K–310K / year. Fully remote, open to applicants in Friendly, Travel-Required, San Francisco, CA, New York City, NY.
