Operations Manager

Token2049 is a flagship event in the global Web3 calendar, known for curating premier gatherings that bring together industry leaders, builders, and innovators. The company runs TOKEN2049 and SuperAI, conferences designed with obsessive attention to attendee experience and operational excellence. As Operations Manager for the Ecosystem & Community team, you'll oversee all moving parts of these large-scale events across Singapore and Hong Kong, from ticketing and vendor coordination to day-of execution and customer support.

Your core job is to design and execute a best-in-class operations roadmap that takes TOKEN2049 to the next level. You'll own end-to-end logistics: ticket sales, inventory, registration workflows (both online and on-site), exhibitor management, and vendor coordination. You'll develop and roll out new systems to streamline how the operations function runs, then analyze event data and metrics afterward to spot improvement opportunities.

On the people side, you'll recruit and mentor junior operations staff, manage the Community Team to handle inbound and outbound inquiries promptly, run the TOKEN2049 Help Desk to deliver world-class customer service, and supervise event staff, volunteers, and subcontractors during execution. When issues pop up during planning or the event itself, you troubleshoot and make fast decisions to keep things on track.

What we're looking for

You bring at least 10 years managing operations and ticketing for large global events. You're entrepreneurial, detail-oriented, pragmatic, and a self-starter who thrives under pressure. Strong project management muscles let you juggle multiple workstreams and hit deadlines. You communicate clearly in writing and conversation, think critically through problems, and show real resilience when things get messy. Fluent English is essential.

A genuine interest in Web3, crypto, or AI spaces is a plus but not required. What matters most is your track record building systems that enhance operations, your ability to lead and develop people, and your commitment to making attendees feel heard and valued.
