VIP Sales, SEA (6 months contract)

Binance operates the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, serving over 300 million users across more than 100 countries. The platform is known for its robust security infrastructure, transparent fund management, fast execution speeds, and extensive range of digital asset products spanning trading, institutional services, education, and Web3 capabilities.

The VIP and Institutional division focuses on serving the most sophisticated participants in crypto markets—from individual traders and hedge funds to family offices, investment banks, and high-frequency trading firms. This team provides premium services and tailored solutions to top-tier clients while continuously expanding the institutional client base.

You'll join the Business Development team as a VIP Sales specialist covering Southeast Asia, working remotely from the Philippines. This is a six-month full-time contract that blends two critical functions: maintaining and growing relationships with existing VIP clients while actively sourcing and onboarding new high-value traders from the region.

What you'll do

• Manage a portfolio of existing VIP clients in SEA through day-to-day relationship management, query resolution, and product support; serve as their primary contact for all account needs.
• Identify trading patterns and client behavior to spot upsell opportunities and unmet needs within your book of business.
• Prospect and onboard new VIP clients using LinkedIn outreach, local community networks, and your own connections; you'll have clear KPIs tied to new business acquisition.
• Coordinate with Compliance, Product, and Security teams internally to ensure seamless client experiences and resolve escalations.
• Plan and execute local VIP events including dinners, meetups, and client celebrations to strengthen relationships and attract prospects.
• Provide market intelligence and regional feedback to the broader APAC team on local trading dynamics and competitive activity.

What you'll bring

• A degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, Statistics, Mathematics, or quantitative trading-related field; relevant industry experience can substitute for formal education.
• Fluency in English and ideally one or more additional languages relevant to SEA markets.
• Solid grasp of cryptocurrency, macroeconomics, and financial trading fundamentals.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to work independently in a high-pressure, fast-moving environment.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and data tools; CRM system experience is valuable.

Nice to have

• An existing network of crypto or stock traders, especially connections within quantitative trading or mathematical finance communities.
• Personal trading experience with stocks, crypto, ETFs, or other financial instruments.
• Prior experience in finance, technical sales, research, or client services roles.
