Blockchain Security Expert - Anti Defect Track

The Blockchain Security Engineering team is hiring a Security Expert to focus on vulnerability discovery and analysis across smart contracts and blockchain systems. You'll be central to CertiK's security consulting and auditing services, working on everything from penetration testing to formal verification.

Your day-to-day work

• Execute smart contract audits by identifying, analyzing, and remediating security vulnerabilities in blockchain code.

• Develop attack models and evaluate threat scenarios specific to blockchain environments.

• Extract vulnerability patterns from exploited code to build and refine static analysis tools for detecting similar issues.

• Stay current with emerging analysis tools and blockchain technologies, integrating new methods into CertiK's service offerings.

• Collaborate with the team to expand security tooling and strengthen overall service quality.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a science or engineering discipline, with at least 3 years of professional experience.

• Solid understanding of information security fundamentals.

• Working proficiency in one or more languages: Solidity, Go, Rust, C++, Python, or Node.js, plus knowledge of common algorithms.

• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, for a fully remote English-speaking environment.

• Genuine interest in blockchain technology and a mindset oriented toward continuous learning.

Nice to have

• Experience building or maintaining production pipelines.

• Familiarity with static code analysis techniques like syntax analysis, semantic analysis, or taint analysis.

• Knowledge of platforms like Ethereum, Hyperledger, or Cosmos.

• Previous blockchain security work, such as smart contract audits or on-chain incident analysis.
