You'll lead Deepgram's demand generation function as Director of Demand Generation, reporting to the VP of Demand and Growth. This is a hands-on leadership role where you own the enterprise pipeline plan alongside Sales leadership, build the integrated campaign and ABX strategy that other marketing teams execute against, and create the playbook Deepgram uses to generate pipeline long-term. You'll start with a senior integrated campaign manager and build from there.
What you'll do
- Own the sales-led pipeline plan by setting quarterly marketing-sourced and influenced targets with Sales, building the program mix to hit them, and running weekly pacing reviews that drive decisions.
- Run all campaigns on one integrated model with unified briefs, calendars, scorecards and named owners, turning every major product launch into a live pipeline campaign.
- Build always-on ABX programs for priority segments and named accounts, using launches, customer proof and competitive plays as engagement triggers.
- Align audience strategy with the Paid Media team, setting shared audiences, account lists and campaign priorities against joint pipeline and cost-per-SQL targets.
- Tighten the Sales handoff by working with SDR leadership and Marketing Operations to improve funnel stage criteria, routing, speed-to-lead SLAs, and make campaign influence visible on every opportunity.
- Build re-engagement programs for stalled leads, closed-lost opportunities and event attendees in partnership with Marketing Operations.
- Develop co-marketing campaigns with partners like AWS, Twilio and NVIDIA, building closed-loop reporting and MDF-funded programs that produce traceable pipeline.
- Hire, coach and grow the campaign team while owning the single campaign calendar that Demand Gen, Product Marketing, Brand, Content, Events and Sales plan against.
What you'll bring
- Proven track record owning enterprise pipeline numbers alongside Sales, with ability to trace specific programs from first touch through closed-won, including understanding where programs missed.
- Experience building ABM/ABX programs targeting enterprise buying committees across technical evaluators and executive stakeholders, with measurable pipeline and revenue impact.
- Strong analytical foundation to diagnose full funnel performance, identify where conversion breaks between MQL, SAL, SQL and close, and fix highest-leverage issues first.
- Deep working knowledge of CRM campaign structures, marketing automation platforms and attribution models to spot when pipeline isn't being properly counted.
- Ability to translate positioning into one consistent campaign story across ads, email, landing pages and SDR messaging without relying on agency support.
- Player-coach leadership style: you hire and develop marketers while staying hands-on writing briefs and pulling reports.
- AI-native operational approach, building human and AI workflows for campaign planning, copy generation, list building, analysis and reporting while knowing where human judgment remains essential.
- Focus on systems thinking—building repeatable campaign models, scorecards and playbooks instead of running disconnected programs.
- Strong relationship-building skills with Sales and SDR leadership, holding shared accountability for numbers across teams you don't directly manage.
Nice to have
- Ten or more years in B2B demand generation or integrated campaigns at fast-growing technical companies (cloud, data infrastructure, developer tools, security or AI), with several years managing marketers.
- Experience with API-first or usage-based business models, or marketing into regulated industries like healthcare and financial services.
- Track record running hyperscaler or ISV co-marketing programs through AWS Marketplace or MDF that produced tracked pipeline.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, Dreamdata, 6sense, Demandbase, BI tools like Superset, and LinkedIn and Google Ads platforms.
