Head of AI Expansion

Tether is actively expanding its presence in the AI sector and seeking a visionary leader to drive global adoption of its decentralized, privacy-preserving AI ecosystem.

As Head of AI Expansion, you will lead Tether's international push to position its AI infrastructure solutions with enterprises, institutions, and governments that prioritize data sovereignty and independence from centralized cloud providers. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires you to navigate complex commercial opportunities while building deep relationships with C-suite executives, government leaders, and technical teams across multiple geographies and cultures.

What you'll do

• Personally identify, structure, and close strategic AI partnerships and deployments globally, focusing on organizations where local, private, decentralized, or sovereign AI creates competitive advantage.

• Drive adoption of Tether AI solutions across priority markets and industries by matching organizational needs with appropriate use cases and building compelling business cases alongside product and engineering teams.

• Build and lead a global expansion team, recruiting expansion managers, partnership leads, solution architects, and establishing KPIs, execution playbooks, and commercial processes.

• Develop go-to-market strategy for Tether AI, identify high-value opportunities, and manage a strategic pipeline while monitoring market, competitive, regulatory, and technological developments.

• Nurture relationships with CEOs, CTOs, CIOs, AI leaders, and government stakeholders, positioning Tether as a trusted partner for organizations seeking AI sovereignty and infrastructure independence.

• Monitor partnership performance, proactively identify risks, and design mitigation plans to ensure successful deployments.

• Represent Tether AI at strategic meetings, government engagements, conferences, and industry forums.

What you'll bring

• Seven or more years of experience in AI, enterprise technology, infrastructure, or technology business development, with deep knowledge of AI/ML, large language models, inference, local and edge computing, data infrastructure, and decentralized architectures.

• Proven track record of personally originating, structuring, and closing large enterprise technology deals and partnerships.

• Established relationships with senior decision-makers across enterprises, technology companies, and government organizations.

• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building capabilities.

• Experience building and managing high-performing teams in dynamic environments.

• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to operate independently in fast-moving contexts.

• Degree in AI, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.

• Experience in multiple geographic markets and cross-cultural business environments.

• Understanding of government and institutional procurement processes.
