You'll join the Partnerships team as a Strategic Partnerships Dealmaker focused on driving Walrus adoption within the AI ecosystem. This is a frontline role where you own the full lifecycle of deals—from identifying opportunities through negotiation, signing, and ensuring successful implementation.
What you'll do
- Identify and build relationships with key players in the AI and data infrastructure space: hyperscalers, AI builders, agentic-framework companies, data and compute vendors, and standards bodies. Develop and manage a pipeline of high-impact opportunities including marketplace listings, platform integrations, co-marketing arrangements, and industry standard-setting initiatives.
- Position Walrus Memory as a top-tier memory provider where AI developers shop for infrastructure. Navigate emerging standards discussions to ensure Walrus is built into agentic workflows from the ground up.
- Structure and negotiate complex, non-template deals where you must balance multiple stakeholders and align terms with strategic goals for both parties.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams to move deals from signature through integration and beyond, maintaining ownership of outcomes.
- Surface market intelligence and external data points that inform leadership strategy across Partnerships, Product, and Marketing.
What you'll bring
- 7 to 10+ years closing strategic partnerships, ecosystem alliances, or business development deals at data infrastructure, AI, or enterprise software companies. You have a track record closing deals with large platforms or enterprises involving multiple stakeholder layers.
- Technical fluency without needing to be a data architect. You can grasp complex technical models, system architectures, and agentic workflows.
- A proven ability to structure creative business relationships that break from standard templates.
- Genuine interest in decentralizing data infrastructure and curiosity about Web3 and decentralized systems. Prior crypto experience is helpful but not required.
- Comfort with 20% or more travel, often internationally. You thrive in fluid environments where priorities shift frequently.
- Direct communication style and high ethical standards.
