VP of Tech Expansion (100% REMOTE)

This VP of Tech Expansion role offers the chance to shape Tether's next phase of growth by leading the commercial and technological rollout of its ecosystem across emerging markets, industries, and regions. You'll report directly to the Chief Expansion Officer and own the strategy, partnerships, and team-building required to establish Tether as the infrastructure partner of choice for enterprises, financial institutions, and governments navigating digital transformation.

What you'll do

• Design and drive the global expansion strategy for Tether's technology portfolio, including AI, self-custodial infrastructure, peer-to-peer systems, and financial infrastructure across multiple verticals
• Identify high-potential markets, industries, and use cases; build and maintain relationships with C-suite executives, government leaders, and institutional decision-makers
• Personally lead the origination, structuring, negotiation, and closure of major partnerships and commercial deployments
• Translate complex market and partner requirements into clear product and engineering briefs, coordinating cross-functional teams from concept through implementation and scale
• Oversee delivery of major initiatives on time and on budget while monitoring performance, identifying risks, and developing mitigation strategies
• Build and lead a global team of senior professionals responsible for expanding Tether's technology verticals, establishing clear priorities, KPIs, and accountability frameworks
• Develop repeatable commercial and execution playbooks so that each market entry strengthens Tether's competitive position for the next opportunity
• Represent Tether as a strategic ambassador at global conferences, industry forums, and in direct engagements with enterprise and government stakeholders

What you'll bring

• 12+ years of experience in enterprise technology, AI, digital infrastructure, fintech, digital assets, telecommunications, or technology business development, including senior leadership roles
• Deep understanding of blockchain, decentralized systems, and digital finance landscapes
• Proven track record of originating and closing multi-million-dollar partnerships and complex enterprise deals
• Strong ability to translate technical concepts into compelling commercial narratives for non-technical audiences
• Executive presence and comfort engaging with CEOs, CTOs, CIOs, government leaders, and board-level stakeholders
• Experience building high-performing global teams and developing talent across multiple geographies and business units
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis
